This won't add HP if your thinking it will. It will just provide better electrical flow which might make it idle better or respond better but that's just a figment of your imagination.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

it can help, just like ground straps (the ones that hang from the rear of your car and drag on the street) are known to take away the "Static" shock you get when stepping out of your car, and it can also help reduce sleepyness behind the wheel (just a bunch of studies that i've read)

How the @!#$ would grounding your car prevent drowsiness. Either you or some company is full of @!#$. Changing something on your car is not going to effect your physical well being and abilities, especially to stay awake.

Well my cav idles better, and runs smoother. In my opinion that has to add something like .5hp
It can't hurt hp. You just making the electrical system more efficient.

lol, its not me, its just something i had read over the years, never put it to test my self just a "tidbit" of information i guess. supposedly when driving down the road the car can get a static charge or something and make your "eyes" tired, adding that strap can help with that (from what i've read) anyways i say take it with a grain of salt..

you can piece a kit like it together for less than $20.00 with all the necessary connectors and cool colors you want.

Well I planned on like buying an amp kit. I just bought an 96 z24 and the wiring harness has been hacked up and I planned to try to rerun and fix it. The ground wire doesn't look the best either. You said you have done it. If you could get some pictures it would be awesome

This is something I found and posted awhile back. Pics of someone using stereo
4ga and routing them around. Hope it helps.
