Where can a order some high-proformance (racing) Spark Plugs for my Cavalier? Websites? Recommendations? I'm looking to grab a little extra HP (I know it won't be much)...
Spark plugs ARE NOT a performance part. You won't gain anything from them unless your current ones are toast.
For you I'd suggest stock plugs from a dealership. DO NOT BUY BOSCH PLATINUM PLUGS, ESPECIALLY THE +4s.
And lose that wing....doesn't look good on ANYTHING.

thanks man. sorry about the wing. I dont like orange either. hahaha. thanks though.
this is what i wrote to you in your other post.

first you need how to spell Performance right.
2nd spark plugs wont give you any power. maybe a little bit better mpg but thats it. stick with your stock ac delco plugs or something of equal value to the stock ones. the only reason you would need to switch to different plugs is if you have nitrous or turbo/supercharger.
3rd if you want different plugs, go to your local Autozone
dont post the same question twice in different forums. its the devil around here.
and hypsy is right on the bosch and the wing. its tacky

^^ lol
Yeah don't get the Bosch, messed my idle all up when I used to have a 2.2 in my car..

Spark plugs will not directly give you additional horse power. But, they will ensure that you will completely burn your air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber.
On a relatively stock motor, upgrading the ignition beyond stock is not going to improve performance. But if you have a larger air/fuel mixture in your combustion chamber, you may need a more powerfull spark to ensure a fully burnt air/fuel mixture.
I'd just buy some AC Delco plugs, and put the rest of your money towards a set of motor mounts.
A lot of people hate the orange. I like it though.
I can't believe anyone would CHOOSE a wing like that though

Why put the fact that I run 12s in a Cavalier on my business cards? Because it makes me different than the other 30K members here. Not many people here run 12s PERIOD let alone on a stock motor and clutched Ecotec. You may not like the fact that I was the 2nd fastest, now 3rd, but I am and I'll make sure other people know it too.

Because that's on the new motor genius. Try doing a little research next time.

He did run 12's before all of that.
All you'd have to do is look at my last timeslip I posted and you'd see I haven't made a full power run with the new motor yet too.
Or maybe you could use the SEARCH feature...but we all know no one does that. If you did you'd see that my 12.53 run was a couple months before the day my engine blew, both of which I posted about.

damn. sorry I started all of THIS... hahaha. oh well. Let's let this one die down guys. Thanks to the people who did give me some feedback though.
I prefer NGK's in my 2.4. They are only $1.59 each. I have the part number somewhere. Also found out tonight that AC Delco is made (at least partly) by NGK. very weird.
