ok, im just a little weirded out here...
have any of you (besides the original few) gotten your mounts yet?
ttr.com says its closed for something, arron will not answer my emails, and im getting really frustrated. im not really upset about it, just would like to get some answers.. and by posting here im thinking i'll get some.
they originally said they had sent the mount over 2 weeks ago, i checked shipping # they sent me in an email and it said on fedex.com that the package was returned to sender, arron then told me that they sent the wrong mount and would be sending the correct one soon.
this was last week, and no such email stating i have a new one being sent or w/e.
so, did anybody else really indeed get yours?
Apparently the people who cut Aarons mounts was supposed to cut X amount of eco mounts, and X amount of 2.4 mounts. The people who cut them cut all Eco mounts, so Aaron is working that out. I'm not sure where you got that the site was closed, I just went there and I can't see anything saying closed.

ohhh ok my bad, i meant the section to "contact us" wasnt working. said "this site has been temporarily closed due to updates". but now it seems to be working.

They're still getting things worked out.
Its just mail takes time.
Esp when dealing with rts.
And think of the time frame.....
The error was found out after shippent. So whoever was making the parts had to be notified about the correction. Then they had to correct it. Then the corrected and painted parts had to get to ttr. Then ttr has to fix everything. THEN finally reship. THEN you get your stuff in the mail.
So just have to be patient.

If anyone sent any email we replied, check you "junk mail" box. Also, where did you see we were closed, we did a very short product cart system update today from 11:00-11:10 am Centeral Standard Time.
We just received the mounts back last Wednesday and some are still coming back. It took 3-5 days to get to your door for the Fed Ex driver to realize we (Turbo Tech Racing) stop shipment. Then it takes them 3-5 days to get back to us. These are Business days (M-F)
They are all re going back out today as we have all the proper parts now, as the eco part that was installed should not have been, we have the proper 2.4L bracket and they are now back from painting.
We ONLY did this to make it RIGHT for our customers, we only want to ship a product that would meet our customers expectations.
Also, I remember replying to you a few times already, never once did we over look it or ignore you. They were all replied to within 8 hours.

ohh thats ok man, it's not a big deal, i was just a little terified of maybe getting scammed out (cuz i didnt get a reply and the site was down-for 10 minutes-my bad on that man), but i realize that things take time, and im sorry for not being patient.
lol i tried sending a msg to you at that exact time this morning, so thats what happened...i tried sending you an email earlier this morn and got a msg from the postmaster back saying it had failed. so thats why i was worried, thats all.
and yes, you did reply to my email asking about what happened to my mount when i asked why it got sent back.
but i sent an email out i do believe last saturday and i didnt get a reply back (i just asked if everything was going ok and if you had sent the new mount yet) now, idk, something might be wrong with my junkmail...but no reply is in there.
thanks for your time aaron, i know you've got to be bizy... and i should have you know, i really appreciate your company creating such parts... its awesome, thanks a lot.
and again, im sorry for not being patient...im just so anxious to get the part
Aaron's been a great guy taking care of the issue, you guys should see your mounts very soon. TTR is top notch, taking care of the issue the way they did, instead of letting everyone install it, then complain about the issue before sending out new parts.

IVE been keeping up with some of this..and i must say..the MAIN reason i ordered from TTR and will be more in the future is MAINLY because of what happened with the upper mounts...i realize most you were alittle upset because you didnt get your mounts as soon as you would have liked but you have to really respect a company that actually has their product recalled in the middle of shipping to fix a problem BEFORE the customer even realizes whats wrong..any company that fixes their mistakes THAT fast i will always be a loyal customer too...i am eagerly awaiting your tranny insert aaron and i will be ordering your upper mount soon..glad to hear the problem was fixed be fore i placed MY order though
