installing 8.5mm on my ecotec

Ok I am confused I will admit it. I ordered some MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires for my 05 cavalier ecotec. So I get them and start taking everything apart and realize my car doesn't have spark plug wires. How do I install wires? please help

HAHAHA....what did you do? Buy them at Autozone?

If you want to use them you have to convert to a full MSD Ignition system, which you will never have a need for. Keep the stock system intact.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

hope they take returns.......

unless you wanna invest another $1000 in an upgraded ignition system, then you will never need any spark plug wires, since your vehicle doesnt come stock with any.

Because the stock ignition will be more than strong enough to power his AutoZone intake and APC exhaust LOL.

But seriously....the stock COP ignition is pretty damn strong. I was having issues with mine so I upgraded...but I'm also running 20PSI on a built motor and pushing the ignition pretty hard. 99% of JBO members will never have the need for a full MSD system on an Ecotec.
