these are the parts that claim MONDO horsepower, but cost less than a universal remote from sears.

EBAY Scams

Ebay resistor mods/intake resistor scam mods: these usually cost around 99 cents up to 20$. All they send you is a 10cents resistor you could have gotten from radio shack. They claim power, but all it does is make the car dump gas in the injectors… it doesn’t advance timing, just makes you run rich and waste gas, cause if you actually put this on your car, you prob are new to the game, don’t have the air or spark to blow it all up when it gets there. Over time it can cause problems. Its not a bad thing to be new, each and EVERY one of us were new at a time, but you can prevent being new and falling for outrageous claims for small amounts of money.

The only thing ebay sellers know how to "tune" is the IAT, which is only a 5 cent resistor that gives the ECU the wrong intake temperature making your car run rich and inefficient...Unlike what they claim, more fuel does not equal more horsepower without modifications that require more fuel. Don't buy it... it and any other one like it is garbage.

If you have to ask, it's definitely a scam.

take the money you were gonna spend on this and stick it in a jar. Forget about the jar for awhile. then when you see something else questionable that you might have almost bought, put that money in a jar. After some time you'll have enough money to buy a real performance enhancer.

its just as bad as one of those resistors that they sell on ebay. it adjusts your fuel curve by dumping alot of fuel into your motor which can really mess up your ride.

Ok theres some funny words in here so forgive my spelling the Stochimetrically correct ratio for air/fuel is 14.7 to 1. If you modify this ration your runnin to rich or to lean. A stock cavalier will beat a honda down the track anyway. so don't listen to the above guy, its all in his head. You'll end up with a white exhaust tip guaranteed. It only leads to engine trouble. Like Scrufdog says. Save your money buy something worthwhile.

Most likely producing excess carbon. Short spark plug life, along with other things. A stock cavalier will beat a Honda down the track anyway. so don't listen to Drake, its all in his head.
