Anyone know wher to find cheap rebuild kits for the ld9 or the ln2? Just wondering if there is a place that has the whole kits.THX
for the ln2 there's
northern auto parts, when i bought my 96 it was seized. bught the master kit, came with pistons, rings oil pump, main/cap/cam bearings, cam, lifters, freeze plugs, all gaskets and o-rings, and a 3 piece timing set. only other things i had to buy was one connecting rod (from gm, i would recommend the eagle set, one rod from the dealer cost me $120), a reconditioned crank (from autozone, $180 +$80 core) and a new timing tensioner (i think $35 from advance). for the northern kit you can order oversize pistons/bearings for no extra cost if you need machine work done. im not sure if they have the ld9 kit, but if they do, it's on the site.
