well ive read about the new solid upper mount that just came out from TTR and wondered if the guys who have already installed it thinks its necessary to replace my carcustoms insert or is it basiclaly just the same. Money is not a option at all in this so i just wanted to get some options on if its really gonna put those couple horses to the wheels over the insert or not. thanks.
Over 25+ of the 2.4L LD9 engine mounts went out today. So you should have some comments by the end of the week. Right now there are only 4 installed 2.4L TTR mounts, which are all members on this forum. Some of those 4, did have the "insert" and switched to the complete new solid mount.
We will let the ORG state their thoughts on this new product, once received.

worth changing , not even a question , LOL

We currently have available the 2.2 Ecotec, 2.4 LD9, 2.2 "2200 OHV" upper engine mount. Also, the 1995-05 solid trans mount bushings.
Soon to be released is the 1995-05 solid automatic transmission mount.

I bought the ECO upper mount and i can honestly say it eliminated 99% of my 2nd gear wheel hop. superior quality, awesome shipping and great price.

Aaron, about how much are we looking at for the auto tranny mounts?
Auto mounts will be between $150-180. To early to tell exact numbers. If you have ever saw a stock auto trans mount, you will know why they are this price... They are very complex.

Yeah mine got sent back as well.. Talked to TTR and all they said there was something they had to fix on the mount.. What was the problem?

Please contact us if you received the 2.4 mount (Aaron@TurboTechRacing.com), we are bringing them all back, as the day after they shipped we found a very minor issue that needs to be fixed. We have the solution to fix the issue, however we want to provide the best product out available and the best customer support that stands behind our products.
Once we receive the mount back they will be re-shipped the next day.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
The upper 1/2" bracket, some how came off the ecotec inventory rack, the 2.4L one is slightly smaller in width. We will replace this upper bracket and re ship them.
