Looking for some TB help
Sunday, October 15, 2006 3:04 PM
Alright guys, I'm putting my faith in the Org here.

I really need a throttle body made up for me. But I honestly can't find a single machine shop around san diego that will do it for me without either.

A. Telling me it's impossible

B. Joking about the car

C. Telling me that they'll call me later

D. Taking the TB giving it one look and flat out saying no.

E. Overcharging

All I wanted is a regular 52mm tb bored out to about 58/9 mm ish. Nothing more, and a new plate for it as well. I've been quoted upwards of 250 for it also. I don't know if I'm violating any forum rules by doing this, so if I am. I gladly accept this thread being locked.

All I'm asking is that someone please come forward and do me a favor and port this out for me? I would be happy to negotiate a payment deal of some sort if possible, I would pay shipping both ways and of course also. And yeah..... if anyone wants to reach me, the proper channels are located in my profile. or through pm's of course.

Thanks again guys. I really appreciate it

I personally got a pakage from K&N...it was about $400 and it came with a 62mm TB and intake. I got it off ebay.

After RSM raised their prices to 400 bucks for TB that really killed me.

And you paid 400 bucks for a TB and an intake?

Also, you can hit up DarkFox on www.Quad4Forums.com

He did my LD9 throttle body to 58mm for around $100

I just shipped him my old one for a core. About 3 weeks turnaround (From the time it left to the time I got it back)

I do have a 56mm Quad4 one (Different vacuum nipple locations) that I used while my factory one was being bored. He did say that he could take the Quad4 style ones to 60mm.

PM Me, I'm willing to sell it now if you want it.
