You can contact THESE GUY"S and see what they can do for you. You'll have to take everything apart and ship it to them. I have them do all my chrome and polish work.

As far as an alternator , you can get one from Jeg's part #713-38229 (chrome) 713-68229 (polished). Both are 150 amp, around $315 ea.

I think they charged me $50 to strip the powdercoat and polish the IDI cover...

heres a suggestion...i have several parts in my engine bay jet-hot coated, similiar to a polished look but it takes alot of heat without having problems like chrome and it's not expensive to do...best bet to find somebody is find a hot rod shop or maybe ask some exhaust shops if they know somebody in the area, as mentioned before, you will have to remove the parts to be done...i have the hood prop rod, valve cover, strut tower brace, upper motor mount, throttle cable bracket, alternator and the bracket all done

from rk sport:
polished idi cover (you send them yours)
cf radiator support cover
cf brake res. cover
cf fuse box cover
cf rad. res. cover

had custom chromed:
hood hindges
hood prop
TB cable bracket
dipstick
upper hood-hindge bracket
lower subframe brace

bought:
chrome oil cap (bought at advance auto parts-made by APC)
polished strut tower brace
MRZ performance billet-polished strut tower caps

polished by hand:
fuel lines/fuel rail
lower power steering steel line
back coolant line running from the res. to the hose cuplar on the head
outter side of the transmission case

its all pretty time consuming and expensive..but the look on ppl's faces when u pop the hood is frickn priceless!
