2.2 OHV forged pistons

hey guys im about to order some fored pistons and connecting arms, for my 94 OHV, but my question is i dont what the exact specs are i got given the car, im keeping it as 2.2 no bore, just gonna hone it so it breaks in nice as for a cam im just replace with a stock cam, ill be doing upgraded stainless steel valves and new valve springs, and goign with crane cams roller rockers, and than ill be turbing, but i need to get my pistons ordered so and arms ordered

so yah im jsut looking for your suggestions

looking for specs and who you have went through in the past thansk guys

You better check the block before ordering pistons. It really sucks to order std bore pistons and rings then have to pay to return 'em when the engine needs an overbore due to wear.

exactly.

most people upgrade the block or have it bored out a bit. .030 is industry standard for overboring. get that checked first then go from there. you;ll know exactly what you need.

Kind of jacking the thread, but its related. Do most people pick up a spare engine, or do you actually dissect your cavy and just not drive it for the duration? Especially in the case of the OHV engine, they are so cheap that I would guess its easier to pick up a spare.

I gotta spare. I usually do that, although I also have more than one vehicle if I have to follow another plan.

I have a set of Venolia forged pistons and Eagle forged rods for sale that are out of my 2200. Let me know if you are interested.

dissected mine but now im going with a 2.2 eco set-up wiht fuel management shall be a fun time wiring
