I was thinking about doing the 95 2.3 ho swap, i have a2200 right now and im looking for more to the wheels. What dis-advanteges does this motor have and wont it fit right in with the execption of the wiring harness. How this motor has my attention and i was wandering what other peoples opinion were about it. thanks

1st off the HO didnt appear in 95, only a wierd LO. avoid 95 quad4's at all cost. get an 89-92 if you can, but since you have a 2k+ J I'd swap Eco.

The easiest way to get the 2.3 HO in, if you gonna go that way, is to swap all the stuff for a 2k+ 2.4 in and then the HO motor in place of the 2.4. You will still need something to tune it since it won't run to its potential on the 2.4 computer. You also need a way to get around the cam sensor.

Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..

what he nees is a 95 Z or GT manual pcm with wiring harness...if he gets that AND a compatible tranny he could drop it in...however...i see he has an automatic so i would advise against this swap as you will not be able to use its real potential with an automatic transmission
