Ok, 1st off i have a 98sunfire 2.4, built tranny,n20 etc.

I still have my stock TB & Manifold. as i get confused on what has to be adapted to this etc./

So, where can i buy a 2.3HO intake from? i have none at my 2 junk yards i checked.

What throttle body can i do? can i just buy 1 off ebay thats ported/polished?

>>>What do i need to do other then finding those 2 parts? im trying to find everything i need to get it done in a few hrs instead of a few days./.

Your best bet is find one here in classifieds, ebay, or another junk yard.. You can use your 2.4 TB or use the TB(56mm) that comes with the HO mani..

__ so. say i use my stock throttle body. and the 2.3HO manifold. what else i need? adapter plate ' who sells them on here.? and does the 2.4 TB bolt right up to the 2.3 ho mani with no probs or drillen?

If you use the 2.4 TB, use the sensors with it, if you use the 2.3 tb use those sensors.

With the 2.4 TB, you have to drill out the holes in it to be able to bolt to the mani..
With the 2.3 TB all you have to do is dremal off the black bracket that holds the accelerator cable and turn it 180 degrees, because your stock 2.4 cable isnt long enough to reach.
After you dremal that off turn it, then hammer it gentley back on after you've turned it back 180 degrees.. Its kinda hard to explain it, and not show you.

And if the 2.3L gives you trouble. Swap out your tps sensor at least.
The IAC is the old school plunger type so it works fine.
But some folks with the older style 2.3L tbs have had to swap the tps sensor.

The library section over at www.ny-jbodies.org

Or there shold be a write up at www.quad4forums.com

There was an HO mani in the classifieds and on ebay.

I would say use the www.quad4forums.com one. It goes more in depth about the TB and all the vac lines.
