is this a direct swap? or will i need the ECU & Harness?

i blew up my engine in my 96 and found a complete 2000 2.2L engine for extremely cheap!

you will need the PCM and harness

theres a few other mismatches with these engines, it is not a direct swap.

Incorrect.

Read this post 2200 into a 2.2 car
I have done this swap. Put a 2001 2200 into a 97 2.2. Used the 2.2 harness (except the injector harness).
