the other person most likely has a 2.4 twin cam engine. Do a little search and all will be revealed.
i don't know how much you know about the LN2 motors('94-'97 2.2L & '98-'02 2200), but there are plenty of threads on here about them, most of which you'll find me posting about them.
Here's a sample. As you read through some of the posts you'll see who knows what about the motors. Some of the others that will have good info would be Event, OHV notec, Slowolej, HotRod V6 and a few others. I know the search button can be difficult, but learn to use it, alot of good info in here, waiting to be found again.
Try
here and
here to start with for a couple of threads about racing these motors. Many of the ideas are within the rules of one track or another, many aren't, but are difficult to find. It all depends on on the tech staff of each track.
and double posting is the devil.
i also have the head shaved 60thu. wher can i get my ecm re flashed and what can i have put in it
Again, do a search. There is a lot of potential with the LN2 and parts are relatively easy to find - although there are a few things that need attention (fuel injectors in particular). Depending on the rules for where you race, there are rotating assemblies, heads, valvetrain components, intakes, headers, anything you may need. Some things work better than others, and you'll find that adapting parts to fit the LN2 is a way of life for some of us.
As far as reflashes for the ECU, JBP and RSM are the top two places but you're better off with HPT software unless you live close to either JBPor RSM. Some like those places, others say they're the devil's minion. I have no opinion either way but if you have a laptop HPT lets you do what the others do right there in your driveway. Check out the Tuning forum for more on that.
i thought RSM essentially closed down?
Maybe they did. Wouldn't surprise me. I was on their web site about a week ago so beats me. Either way, my point is, HPT is a better route to take since you don't have to yank the ECU and send it in over and over and over and over and over and over and -- you get the idea.
