Ok guys be gentle, I'm new to the forum and seeking advice.
Just bought a 2004 cavalier, pretty new with only 8,000 miles on it. I have already switched the car over to Mobile 1 synthetic. I am planning to make a few simple changes under the hood, but I wanted to get some opinions about how it would sound/perform.
1) Injen Short Ram Air Intake
2) Decently aggressive Cat-back exhaust system (suggestions welcome)
3) MSD ignition
4) Larger throttle body 62mm?
5) light weight pullies?
Any suggestions are very welcome and appreciated. I'm not necessarily going for power so much as sound and throttle response.

nice choice. but an intake is just an intake. no difference with that one and a $40 intake you see on Ebay. you just pay for a name

Custom is best. muffler of your choice. at least an 18 incch resonator to get rid of the crappy sound. maybe evn throw in a high flo cat and header. pacesetter is a populaer choice around here far as a header goes

3) MSD ignition
probaly wont do a lot on a basically stock engine. MSD ignition i think is better suited for Boosted cars.

same as the MSD. 62 is best used for boosted cars. SUperchargers, Turbo, Nitrous

those are more or less helper mods. they work best with other performance mods you have done
most start with an intake, and crappy sounding muffler that you can fist F***
