like the topic says what is the torque for the crank pulley? Im talking about the ecotec but if you 2.4 guys know yours that would help put me in the ballpark.

ive done a few eco's and several 2.4's
pretty much i set my impact as high as it will go , and up the line pressure on my compressor , and make sure its tight as i can get it
dont sit there for a hour trying to make it tighter , but a few good bursts and a solid couple seconds once its semas tight is usually good , ive never had 1 come undone
I think the 2.4 is 149 ft-lbs no idea on a eco...at least not yet

Old Motor: 160whp & 152ft/lbs, 1/4 Mile 15.4 @88.2

Looking at the Chiltons manual.
Page 3-26 at the bottom, for the 2.3/2.4L:
Bolt 175Nm or 129 lbs ft plus 90 degrees.
Guess I better tighten mine down a little more.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Thanks for the help guys.I took it to 100ftlbs and buttoned everything back up put about 40miles on it tonite so far so good. The only thing is when the motors is running the bolt that holds the pulley on looks like its off center but the pulley itself spins perfectly has anyone else noticed this?

I noticed it on my 2.4L too.
At first I though it was the UD pulley I was using.
But its doing the same thing with the factory pulley.
Drvies fine, no belt or ac shudder noise or anything so I hope its fine.
Hoping the tensoner doesn't need reset though.
