Ok so ive read some of the other threads but if i get a magnflow high flow cat will it still have a chance or setting the CEL??? And i heard that if this does happen there is a way to "fix" it so your cel doesnt come on for the cat.... the anti-fowler mod????
I believe you have to move your sensor

I have a magnaflow 2.5" in/out cat and i have no cel problems
just make sure there is one sensor mount on the cat you get
Whats up people?
their is a specific cat that you should get, i don't have the part # for it though, you'll have to search for it. i just know that their is a specific one that does not throw the cel, i have it on my car. or you could buy a o2 simulator for it.
Goal is to make my N/A Auto faster then a manual without doing engine internals
get the hi flow cat # 94035. This has the 02 sensor hole already in, so you won't throw a CEL
ok good cuz thats the cat i was lookn at.... thnx!
As long as you make sure you get the OBD2 compliant model, you should be fine.

Ive been told by the guy at my local car shop taht there is 2 senors??? I was like what? I thought there was only one??? Is he right?
there's one in the exhaust manifold, and one in the cat. my cat (Magnaflow 91035... and yes, it is OBD-II compliant) is throwing codes now too, mostly P0420's. I'm going to put some spacers on it to hopefully fix the problem.
