anyone have any ways to raise the rev limiter on the 95 z24
That's a '95, it's OBD I. The only way with that is a custom burned chip.
BTW, if your motor has stock internals, raising the rev limiter won't do you any good, the power falls off more drastically after the limiter.
and the internals wont last at the higher RPM, remember, balance shafts.
I'd like to know how your Ho is pushing over 200hp.

I challenge it to a duel.
you'll need to swap to a 97+ 2.4L wiring harness and ecu to use HPTuners. you can burn a chip for the 95 but I'd swap just to get the better tuning options (unless you own a burner). yes you'll need the mods to warrant the limitter raise, but I'll leave that for you to decide. its your motor..
Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..
omg you guys whats up!! he has a 95 z and hes already swaped in a HO! since he has the 95 pcm all he needs is the mantapart eprom chip and itll do everything he wants!
I only ask is mods as most people think they get 50hp out of a muffler.

Anyone know if a person can buy one of these burners. I have a 95 2.2, and would be interested in burning my own chips.

Oh whoops, didn't catch that.

Need to know what chip is in that PCM. The burner will be dependant on the chip. I have a chip burner that will do the OBD-I ECU's but the 95 is kinda OBD-1.5.
