Alright guys I recently purchased this underdrive pulley from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-02-Chevy-Cavalier-Pontiac-Sunfire-Underdrive-Pulley_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38656QQitemZ8073817512QQrdZ1 and I got this one because it was only 1 pound and the others said like 1.3 pounds. My question is how much does the stock pulley weight? Also is anybody else running this pulley or does anybody see any defaults that could occur with it? Thanks in advance!

stock pully is 4.7 pounds i do believe

Stock pueely is anwhere from 3.9 to 4.7 pounds.
Mine was like 3 lb 15 oz. or basically 4 pounds.


Its a Underdrive pulley like the others.
Even if it is one of the 'heavier' ones out there. Weighing between 16oz and 19oz.

You're gonna need a smaller belt.
But you should have no problems with it.

I don't know how many times I've written emails to that dumb ass XYZ racing store (among others) to tell them that the 2.4 was never available in a 93 Cavalier. I think you should send it back and tell them they're stupid. And I think that anyone reading this should never buy anything from them, ever, just for that fact.
