hey guys i drive a 2001 cavyz and i am looking at redoin the exhaust, one problem i dont know a thing about exhaust and i want to keep away from the ricer soundin as much as possible, im wanting to do dual exhaust with the flat rectangle tips out on each side just cuz it looks cool and different any ideas what kind of header and all to get just dont want to sound like a weed eater afterwards no offense

The best thing I can suggest is to get the biggest glaspack you can fit, something like a Thrush 22" or 27" if it'll fit. That's the only way to really get rid of the "rice" sound. Just pick the mufflers you want and the tips you want. Headers are a matter of preference, too and I'm not going to suggest one over the other because what works for me might not be the same for you. Some prefer 4-1, some prefer 4-2-1, but as far as sound, both styles are loud as hell. That's the purpose of the glasspack. It'' smooth out the sound and quiet it a little too.
