I have a 96 2.4 cavalier... I have been looking around on the internet and i figured i would ask you guys because you know a lot about our engines. What are the best or the stronger internals for my car... I will be putting a turbo on it 50 trim. running about 10-12 psi.. i want it to be able to handle 300+ HP... its around 200 right now. I do belive that stock internals are around 270+?. SO just please give me some websites or names for some strong Internals.(Rods,Pistons,Head Steads, and so on) Thanks a lot

who makes pistons that are .40 over (2.3L bore sized)?

2.3 pistons are way bigger than 2.4 pistons. a 2.4 piston at 0.040 over is not close to the stock bore of a 2.3. You CAN'T bore the 2.4 block to the 2.3 bore. 2.4 pistons are 90mm and the 2.3 are 92mm. It's a 0.080 difference.

Also, All the copmany make the bore you want. It's a custom order so you ask the size you need.

Not even close to 200hp. You don't have enough modification to get 200hp.

LOL at the old ways and myths.

.080 has been done several times by my machinist. its a good idea to sonic test to be sure of wall thickness because different blocks have different core shift but he never did once as far as i know and has never had issues.. ever.
