can some one help?

Ok well i REALLY want/need to know how to do this! Me and a couple friends got in an argument on how easy it was to install a complete bottom end (crank, pistons w/ rings, rods and bearings).

They say you have to hown (sp?) the cylinders and possibly bore it a little to install it all and not have to worry about anything else like oil leaks.

Do you need to do anything to it or is it just a simple bolt up?

any help would be great! thanks!

dont do it unless u know what ur doing. no offense but the fact of u asking how easy it was kinda shows u dont know whats involved with it. its a lot of work.

Ehhh, I don't have the slightest idea of how to build up a bottom end. But I'm sure with just some 'researching' you wouldn't be able to do it.

you need to measure the cylinder before honing or boring.

sometime the cylinder are not oval.

You always have to hone the cylinder before putting new rings. I would do it even if you put back old rings.

It's better to have the cylinder bore before putting new piston but it's not always needed.
