I was wondering which TB of 70mm or larger have been used succesfully... what does it have to have just the TBS ... i can get the vaccum hoses from other parts of the manifold, but it also has other things connected to it not sure if its required to make the car run. and yes i do need a Throttle body that large . does elderbrock make any Universal ? im going to be running HPTuners software . its a 2.4l
umm its going to have to be custom.....btw yeah, ummm you dont need a tb that big.

Yeah I know like i said before i need a 70mm or larger.. i can back it up. i just dont see anything bigger than 62mm .. my question was were can i find one that would hook up to the electrical stuff(TBS) on the cavy. any one ? What brand or what mods were made to the TB to make it fit ? Something Tells me im going to be the next KARO .. Dont quote me on that
bigger tb.. i think JBP still might have a 72mm? and to make it fit you'll need an aftermarket intake manifold and the only one is from vennon for around 7 bills and an aftermarket intake of course.

Edelbrock makes a 70mm version of this universal TB.
No IAC or vacuum lines on it. If you need them, machine them into the adaptor plate.
Or buy the same TB from Edelbrock for a Mustang and adapt the Ford stuff to your car.
The TB shown is just a stripped down version of their Mustang TB.
You're going to need to fab a throttle cable bracketas well.
Can you bore a 2.4 manifold big enough for a 70mm TB?
THANK YOU THANK YOU thats what i needed... a part number would be nice.. BUt THANK YOU
Juan, check summit racing. They have alot of Tb. Also, the part number on the box in the picture is the right one. 3812.

Well, I'll put in the first vote saying this guy will give up his wet dream soon enough. The next Karo?! Please, he doesn't even know if he needs the 'electrical stuff' connected to his TB, you knw, the TBS and stuff
BTW, I think TBS is channel 26 or so on cable here...
