if i put an S10 TB 2.2 on my cavy 2.2 will it give me any power and will it bolt up and if and body know any secret mods like this can you please let me know

Measure the butterfly plate. Bigger than yours? Yeah it helps.

Measure the bolt pattern. Same? Then it will bolt up!

The '94-'97 S-10s had basically the same motor as the '97 & older J-bodies, when it came to the 2.2s. The only difference, engine wise, was the intake runners were angled forward to clear the heater core and the oil pan and pick-up were designed for RWD. On these motors the TB was cast as one piece with the intake plenum and cannot be removed. The TB was 52mm.

The '98 & later S-10s, again used basically the same motor as the J-bodies, the TB was again the same size, 52mm.

There would be no change in performance, using the S-10s TB.
