ho intake problem

Ok, I got my ho intake installed and the car running today, but i have two problems

1. the car idles like a dream right at 1000/1100, but if i am anywhere above 5 mph and put the clutch in it will only fall as low as 1500. any ideas?

2. i am using the 2.3 throttle body and the outer diameter is 2.75". I thought i was going to be able to use the stock s-tube on the throttle body, but the s-tube is a 3" ID. anyone else have this problem?

I have a stock S tube on my t/b....

make sure your t/b plate closes all the way, since your using the 2.3 t/b....

was the throttle body a lot smaller than the s-tube? I didn't even try to see if the clamp would clamp it enough to fit it on there. Also, the plate is closing all the way and the tps is reading 0% throttle at close. Yesterday I threw a code "egr insuffieceint flow". Since the code is up, I haven't noticed the high idle when rolling. Unfortuneately, tomorrow I go back to school and I won't be by my car for a while, so I can't really solve anything.
