right offthe bat looking at my own pictures I notice a problem. the black diodes lines arent facing the same way im going to have to change that. but other than that I belive everything else is in order. i will change that tommorw and drop it in.

Turn around that diode.
The resistance is for the ground, the zener diode is the tach signal. You did connect both diode to the negative wire of the coil?
It's suppose to work. I'll get a picture of mine to show you.
