port or new?

I want better air flowh in my intake manifold but I don't know what would be better and more affordable, porting it out at a shop or buying a new one from SAAB. I talked with the SAAB dealership in Houston and they told me it was $159.. I think. But then again I don't know if that has better flow than our stock manifolds. So what would be better to do, buy a new one or just port out the one I have right now? And what gains can I expect from porting it out/getting a new one?

I would prob be easier to just port your stock one, though it wont help much till you port and polish the head too.

Yeah I know, I'm planning on port and polishing my head soon after or at the same time. Alright I guess I'm sticking with my stock one. So with them being ported, what should I expect? More Torque? More Horses? Both?

Sounds good, would this be not so difficult to do? And can I do this with tools from a Custom Metal Fabrication Shop? And what about Port and Polishing the Head? Thank you.
