Alright, Ive heard that it does supposedly, but I was just curious. Does an aftermarket intake really effect the sound of your exhaust? Ive heard some cars in the shop without their air filters on, and they did sound a bit more unrestricted, but those were big block carburated beasts.
Also, I know exhaust pop is natural when you rev it up, but at what point do you need to ask yourself "Is this normal?" If i rev it, my 04 will make about 2 large pops. Is it just that the constantly adjusted timing cant keep up and part of the fule mixture is ignited while the exhaust valves are open? All OEM except muffler- glasspack. Thanks.

Yes, the pop is normal.
yeah......what he said

I don't actually read your posts
I stare them down until they give me the information I require
Well, as far as the pop is concerned, is it caused by the valves being open while the fuel/air mixture is combusting? Like, i suppose it would be post-combustion? I'm just curious, I've never heard it explained, and I'd just like to know for my own insatiable lust for car knowledge. Thanks.
