well your not going to like what i have to say about and some people might disagree but.......
dont drive it fast. at all. you know as soon as you start it you want to hold it at 2200 or so rpms to help support the cam bearings. dont just let it lobe at idle, some reason its not good on a first start up. drive it around like a grandma for 150 miles or so. then start doing small pulls in it. run with it up into 3rd and then let it coast back down while in gear(the rpms i mean) kijnda like you were just driving regularly and then a light turned red, but not so much brake, your trying to set the rings in a little more. you...

no screw that, just remember this, you want to introduce the engine to what every aspect of daily driving will be like. BUT DO THIS GENTLY! and being honest, i've built 2 engines and i waiting til about 300miles or so on my od. before i would ever get on it. i know it's tempting, but try and wait

just hold out and be nice to it thru roughly an entire tank of gas aprox. (300 miles) as said before. Drive it like a daily driver, it will allow all those nice new shiny parts to learn to work together and "wear in".

How big of a supercharger are you going to be putting on it? Sounds like your ready for some good boost levels.

Let's see... I rebuilt the motor, swapped to a 5 speed.... put it together... moved it next door to my real parking spot... took it for a hard run around the city for about 20 minutes... then left the next day for the Bash last summer..... 3500 highway miles.

Broke in just fine

What the 2.4 does not have cam bearings. At least not a replaceable bearing.

but yeah, i've only built 2 engines, 406 sb and a 383 that i assisted lots with. so thats all i know! but just trying to help.
