Mechanically the head has a crack or is warped as water has gotten into the oil, and the seat base on the driver seat is broken.

i can fix that head for 200$ or less...some used seats from the junk yard! Or just pick a can of K&W Block Seal and read the directions. It worked on my old tempo I used to have that overheated and cracked the head (water mixing w/ oil, smokin like hell) and no more smoke. but if its warped then it has to be replaced.

If water mixed with oil, then its obvious that a head gasket went, how do you not know if its seized or not? It doesnt run currently.

Good price for the rest of the car.

when the head gasket goes oil mixes with water in the radiator. when the cylinder head cracks water mixes with the oil. i went throught two heads allready. 1 in my old 89 plymouth voyager 2.5l turbo that b!tch was fast!!!! and the other in my old 92 tempo that b!tch was slow!

It's not gonna work on the 2.3. To know if the head is cracked, you need to take it off. Repair it for 200$? you can have rebuild heads with new springs and valves for the same price. when the 086 head crack, it crack. If it's cracked, it will have like 5-10 cracks witch about 50-60% will leak.
