Going EGR valve cause some oil burning?
Thursday, February 09, 2006 12:15 PM
It's weird, I go through a half quart of oil every month or two and I can't find a leak anywhere on the engine. Now I've heard before that when your EGR valve is going it can cause the engine to burn a little bit of oil, not enough to where you can see it in your mirrors, but enough that over time you have to add more oil. Has anyone else heard of this?
