does anyone have an exhaust set-up thats comes out to the side before the rear wheel so its kind of hidden?

Yes, there are a few cars I've seen around here with side-exit exhaust. The only way you're going to accomplish this would be to custom bend your own exhaust. To make things easier, you may want to think about having the pipe exit on the driver's side since it would be difficult to run the pipe across the car. Good luck on the project man.
