I heard of welding them??? anyone heard of this... an old puerto rican backyard mechanic from the moutains told me that (mountain boys fix cars all day!)I'm tempted to say that perhaps that kind of trickery doesn't apply to us. Not sure what exactly would be welded or why a weld would make anything better, but I'm sure if it were really that easy nobody would bother investing so much money in Quaife / Phantom Grip / Team Green differentials. That just doesn't sound right...

same here.. I've never had only one wheel peel
Brad Paauw wrote:Never spun one tire always two tires for me. If you can't spin two it's only good becuase you only need to replace one tire when it wears out!LOL! I'm sure you don't mean that seriously, but as a joke instead (at least I hope). But just for clarification so nobody actually takes that seriously, if you find your car only spinning one wheel quit doing it immediately. It's BAD, mmkay? Unless you actually want to ruin your differential, spider gears, etc., if you feel it happening let off the throttle, or if you know it tends to happen when you gun it while turning, don't do that.

Also, you can weld it, but have you ever driven a RWD truck with lockers? Think of that, but twice as bad. Only good if you never plan on turning, but good for burnouts.
