Put a large chunk of wood (2x4 1' long) between in the oil pan and the jack, just to be careful.

????? why do you need to jack the motor up????

Take the plate off the mount and remove the insert, put in the polly insert along with the stock rubber insert and put all the bolts back in, your motor wont fall.

Great advice. Just make sure you're not really "jacking up" the motor too much, but putting it under there well enough to make sure the jack is supporting in it in place without lifting it up. Sounds obvious as hell, but I'm always surprised how many people actually do things like this and end up lifting the whole friggin front end of the car up by the friggin oil pan...
