Simply put, where can i purchase Header wrap at shops or places online?
Summit, Jegs, almost any speed shop shoudl have access.
Just a word of advice, unless this is a race car, header wrap will eventually fail the part, ie header tubing because it does its job so well and the material gets too hot.
1988 Pontiac Fiero, engine transplant underway.
2004 ECOtec, built and boosted
Thanks for the fair warning, but whats the ETA on something like that falling apart and price on it, or how much a 2200 with aftermarket 4-1 headers might need.?
Riley, I would just buy the Armor Coated 4-1 Pacesetter and call it a day... $205 + shipping. You'll never have to worry about heat and it lasts forever.
yea well lil late for that
supposedly header wrap will hold in moisture, and will create big weakspots in the material, making it crack and fall apart after about a year. might as well put the money from the header wrap into getting it powdercoated

Yeah, definitely do not do header wrap. Get yourself a stainless or a ceramic coated header.
I had header wrap on my old pacesetter non cermaic header. it was corroded within 6 months.
...don't hate!.. respect people that have talent, even if it is in something you don't like or understand.
Header wrap is the devil ! If you see it turn and run like the wind. DO NOT! I repeat
DO NOT do this to your header unless you are trying to make it rust thru.
