Hey guys, It's been a while since i've been on here but I finally have my rebuild done. Just to summarize, I blew engine and rebuilt a littlle stronger. I had the rods resized, got a new cranshaft , had the block line bored, new main and rod bearings, multylayered head gasket, spec stage 3+ clutch, spec lightweight flywheel, new valve seals, gasket matched and ported the head, and if I can get the fund I plan to get a 2.5 pulley for the charger and alcohol injection heres some pics of the build

good thing your imo = nothing to the rest of us.

anyway, nice job..... but I would have done something to address the reason why you spun a rod bearing in the first place.

well, that brings up a good point the reason they spun was because a lack of oil the rings where bad and it burned oil but i forgot to check it.

damn...... lol

my buddy's Z had the same problem when it spun a bearing..... except it was the turbo burning the oil.

Wow that would be nice to have

so what are the cylinders bored out to??,also if you say to about 2.5 you should get a new plate made to say that.

anyways looking real good

BTW when you took the engine out did you take any pics of the water-pump placement
