ok im sure its been asked a thousand times and ive searched and couldnt find so oh well.. my question is what all would i need and would i need to do to switch from a 2.2 to a 2.4 in a 95 cavi? i want to know everything there is i would need to know please.
You have a 95 2.2 so go with an Ho. The 2.4 is worthless since you can you can use the Ho and get 30hp and 10lbs more than a 2.4. The job is the same anyway.

well dude im doing one right now for a friend of mine and its not hard at all all you need is new shafts wiring harness computer and the motor the mounts are the same so my ad vise is rip her out and put that bad boy in and the 2.3 would be better but not much of a difference being that you can mate the 2.3 Lo parts to the 2.4 like the head and manifold for example so nock yourself out dawg and get her done you wont regret it cuz that 2.2 is a lazy motor lol email me if you need anymore help!

Hey I've been hearing a lot about that 2.4/2.3 hybrid motor. Does anyone know what kind of numbers this combo makes, and does it just raise compression?

damn, i might get ahold of you just to try and figure out what the hell you just typed....
if your gonna go through a swap why waste your time with a 2.4L? 150 hp is a turd. Trust me I drive one and its slow as hell. Not to mention unreliable. I'd swap an ecotec in and turbo it if you want to stay with a 4-cyl.

Stop beating the @!#$ out of it and watch the reliability go up.....
I think im just going to build up my 2.2, i think it has decent power now. Anybody have info on how to build one up.
id swap in a 2200 easier and practically the same engine but does have its advantages. plus there seems to be a bigger aftermarket for 2200
