Your guys computer pulls and pulls and pulls fuel during closed loop right? Well.. can it do just the opposite? Lets say we rig up an electrical circuit to the main o2 and trick it into thinking its lean.. will it be as aggresive? Maybe you can use it to your advantage..
Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..
maybe use it to get a 12.8 or 13.0 a/f if you play with resistors???

the problem is that the circuit you talk about would have to be rigged to add fuel only under boost, and the fuel curve for different turbos would be different as well. The first part, probably just put the whole resistor circuit on a Hobbs switch, no big deal, the second part... well.... that would probably take more work. Its been talked about before, but when megasquirt is $250 and capable of very thoroughly (and even somewhat automatically) making detailed fuel maps, why go through all the work?

heres what im thinking dario :
o2 ----> rigged up circuit ----> ECU
Jay's on to it. Basically change the Voltage output seen by the ecu to think its correcting on to 14.7 when in fact its correcting to a better afr for performance.
to Jay :
to "unhook" and take a sniffer test and "rehook" ..prolly off some sort of switch. also to have the stock ecu handle all tuning, since well, ive never tuned a car before
im a noob. but i know computers.. and hardware.
your on to what im thinking though. yoru right the only way this would be very helpful is if the eco can pull cycles enough to make big injectors idle right (which may need another ecu trick to always run in closed loop, possible water temp sensor hack). so obviosly this is all hypothetical. im just wondering if this has any shred of possible use. would it not be neat to see the stock ecu control control big injectors and have a 12.5~13 afr all the time?

yeah man to add a part to adjust while idleing would be good but your right its bordering on "might as well megasquirt"

thats all it is?????? how hard is it to install? do u need all new sensors?
us n/a guys need something to change the ignition mapping, so we can take advantage of this 10:1 compression. if the cars tuned for 87 octane stock with that compression...theres gotta be some power to be had retuning for 91/93. course new ignition maps would help the turbo guys run more boost safely as well.
