Hello all I have a 2000 Z24 and I got a 96 2.4 head for cheap and I want to port this head install some cams (secret, jbp II or crane) and an HO intake with 62mm tb. Anyway I was wondering if I'm going to have any problems with this head (weren't the 96-98 prone to blown head gaskets?) Or should I look for a 00 - 01 head to start with?


2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.

The water jackets are different shapes, so they won't line up to the ones on the block.
