hey guys im doing my rebuild and been calling around shops and such for pricing on p&p head and all and im wondering since ill be running jbp cams, gm s/c @ 7psi (for now) and a 55-75 shot of nitrous on ms2 ignition should i replace my valve spings and retainers or replace valves also? and i know i can buy carcustoms valves for like $200 but would i need to buy aftermarket springs and retainers also or would new OE ones be fine? thanks guys

I would deff get the upgraded Valves. The stainless steel undercut valves will increase flow and handle the higher cylinder temps associated with Boost much better. if you can find a reliable valve spring I would also suggest it. Just dont forget to lap in the new valves or else they will not seal properly. I also do head work, PM me or hit me up on AIM (chevy91z) for pricing.

You can buy valvesprings from JBP. And I agree on the valves.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
