Ok i have a 97 2.2 Auto. Im thinking about swaping in a 03 2.2 Auto. I just need to know if the trans and motor mounts are the same. I do beleave they are as they only changed the trans mounts for the 5-speeds but i just wanted to ask and make sure. Also i dont want a manuel as this is my everyday car and i hate shifting all the time. Rather just get in and go. I know the ecotec uses a different upper mount but the mounthing point on the inner fender is the same correct?

Lower motor mount is the same, the ECOTECs Upper Mount on the other hand is different than the Upper mount on the OHVs.
