Gain from a header

For all those who have installed a header...

What type of gains did you notice? Where in your rpm range was the difference and about how much horse and torque do think you gained? What brand do you recommend?

Pacesetter 4-1

It moved my power band up. I'm not really happy with it, since the 2.2 lacks low end anyways. Its going to be one of the first things to go during the next drivetrain overhaul.

Well I see you're rocking the 97 Z24. The LD9 has good low end torque. And you can only want more of course. I'd look yourself into the Pacesetter ceramic coated header. Ceramic is the only way to go man. You'll notice more torque, especially with the addition of a 2.25" catback after the header. And you'll pick up some top end too. Your powerband isn't affected, that's all in the cams and valvetrain. But it will enhance it more.

Yeah,
Pace or DC sports is the way to go.

I hoping to get my hands on a variety of the headers for the 2.4L
The plan is to set them each up on factory exhaust and give folks and idea of where each one stands.
IF I can find a dyno in my area.

Pacesetter 4-1
My high end was improved, when cruising then flooring it, the response and power was a lot better then with the stock header.

I have a 4-2-1 Weapon-R Header

I noticed my WHOLE powerband increased...not just one section.
