Hi, I thinking of taking out 03 cav 2.2 ecotec motor, put in the Saab 9-5 2.3 liter motor and mated it the Saab 9-3 2.0 5 speed automatic transmission . If it's be possible to do, what steps do I have take to make it work. Or will be easier to mate the 5 speed automatic transmisson to 2.2 liter ecotec motor. I also try to find pics of the 5 speed auto transmission , to see the mechanics and how it works. And thank you for your repiles.

I think for the amount of money you'll be attempting and guessing at this swap, you could boost your ECOTEC and put down more power than a 9-3 2.0 turbocharged.
