Go with The Pacesetter ceramic coated. I've heard nothing but good things about them and there only like $275. Thats what alot of people go with and seem happy.

Is it still speeding if the speedometer dosen't work???

Do not get Rk sport, I heard they leak and hit other parts in your engine. Plus 4-2-1 is for low end, bobbing and weaving through traffic, get 4-1 for high end for highway speed and racing off the line. 4-1 Ceramic Coated Pacesetter is a good deal like MassEco20 said, all I heard is good things as well.

The issues with the RK Sport header depended one what year you got it because they had redesigned the orginal one. The hitting issue was I believe with the firewall but I believe that was fixed with the redesign as well. As far as leaking, that's more than likely a gasket issue than an acutal header issue.

The RK Sport header is a good header. If you want to buy it, you shouldn't experience any problems with it. Suggestion would be to use your stock gasket and not the gasket that comes with it. If your stock gasket is worn, buy a Felpro gasket.

Also, seeing you're an ECOTEC guy, you should really check out the Full ECOTEC Build Guide. It will tell you pretty much all your header options you have to choose from and also most parts that are available for any car equipped with an ECOTEC motor.

Good luck on your decision.

Yes RKSport's header is better for irresponsible driving.

I'd get a Pacesetter ceramic or Weapon-R (RKSport knock off due to lower price)

Now don't come back with some ignorant statement about how I don't know what I'm talking about.

Pacesetter ceramic coated. The only way to go.

RK is just too expensive. Besides I've heard it won't clear some strut tower braces. ??
Not sure if its true on mot but why take a chance?? The Paceseter ceramic header is what i got and its been great. Costs less no leaking issues and doesn't interfer with other mods. Why go any other way?

Then that's the strut brace company's faulty design, not RK Sport. They do their own R&D and their headers come out the exact same. Those strut braces are all pretty much universal, and are adjustable.

Hmm, I would have expected it to be G.M.'s fault for not building our car like this from the factory. JK!!

I guess so but like I said I don't have first hand knowledge just what has been told to me.

Good point tho.

actually that would be rk sports fault , not the strut brace companies

since 90% of all strut braces all run straight accross from 1 side to the other

or you could go with a 50/50 blame on both companies

but the strut braces have been out longer than the eco and rks header
