So as the turbo gets closer and closer I come closer and closer to the one part that I have been fearing...... pipeing. so I have welded only a few times in my life and I dont want to for out the grand to have some old @!#$ make 600% profit off of a 3 hour weld job. problem is that I want to finsih up the exhaust before I make any changes. so is it possiable to go to a junk yard and rip out an old third gen exhaust and use it for a template? also if Im doing a 3' and the stock piping is 2 will I have to change anything?
and does any one have any creative ideas about how to make a Down pipe for the car with out putting everything in place?

Have you thought about getting a DIY exhaust kit, cutting the sections to fit, then having them welded? It wouldn't cost all that much if all tyou have done is the welding. If you can tack weld it where it needs to be, then have it finished by someone with the skills to do it right, it's worth doing. As far as the downpipe, I recommend having the turbo in place so you know for sure it will fit. Trust me on this, I've been building my kit on my own too, and everything fits better if you know exactly where it needs to be.

You need the build the exhaust system on the car.

id say get all the pipes where you want and tack them in place, then have a good professional weld it up (i say good because i had a bad experiance with a guy at a shop that was a piece of crap! ~ end of rant~). but they should only charge 20 - 30 bucks to weld it up for you.
Building en exhaust is not that hard. Get some straight 3" pipe and a couple 3" U bends...hardest part will be making it fit over the rear axle. If you have welded before then you can weld an exhaust. It don't have to be pretty just have to make sure its welded completely so you don't have any leaks.
yeah Im really only worried about the axel and DP
