ok i was searching ebay today and found a 2.4 engine out of a 98 z24 manual transmission and all.

best thing is this listing is in kentucky which is where i live. so i could prolly go pick it up. but im not sure what to do though. i dont really have the cash for it right now but would love to have it.

help me out here what should i do. i need my car for work... so i really cant afford much down time. and how hard would this swap be to complete?

lol yep sure am phlat for some reason i just cant give up on it. but good luck with your 2200 build i just cant put that kind of money into an engine that has 150000 miles on it (which mine does)

Well I think the biggest problem is more of your funds than you making up your mind. Obviously if you can't get it cause of money, than you can't get it.

I would say save up your money and then buy a 2.4 motor/transmission when you are completely ready...they aren't that hard to find. Maybe one day you'll decide to move on to the darkside...ECOTECs
