Anyone that has this tb on their eco, what do you think. Worth it or not.
Specs are as follow:69mm at the opening, 60 at the plate, 62 at manifold opening. Any input will be great. Thanks

I'd personally stick with a more reputable company like RSM but I don't think I've heard any bad things about them.

Read this thread...might give you more insight: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=2&i=288612&t=288612#288612

I have one... but I don't know how much it actually helps. I think I lost a little power down low but gained some up top.

I have one I was lucky enough to pick up from someone selling it on eBay for around 80 bux.

I have to admit I probably wouldn't pay the 160 + core for it.

Its a great compromise between stock and a 62.

Night and day difference on my car I can tell you that. Its a huge improvement over stock.

The first time I autoxed with it on people really noticed and my times were more competitive as well. You can really hear the difference it makes in the exhaust note at higer rpms.

If you have the cash I say go for it.

I have the reveco one, its much cheaper than the rsm. I doubt the difference is worth the gain. Pulls harder up top and it sounds cool. No dyno but, I'm sure it made a few ponies.

I have one too, but now I'm having mad FUEL issues!! Apparently my car isn't getting enough fuel in because I have too much air!! Told to switch it out for my stock one and see what happens. (Car bogs out when trying to accelerate hard)
Has anyone had these problems????

I've had this TB on my 05 Sunfire since early september, and that's how I feel...

For the people who experienced a loss:

Did you reset the computer or just made the swap and started driving around?

Along with rebuilding/port/polishing my GM Supercharger, these guys are doing the throttle body as well. I'll post how it comes out. So far I have read good feedback on JBO in the boost forum. Maybe an option to buying a new throttle body?

Damn, I should have done that as well when my SC was down @ Stiegemeier's. I do know that my Mantapart 57mm Tbody is pretty close to matching the SC opening. 60mm TB would be perfect

I have one about a year now, not much but I noticed gains. Car ran wierd when I first installed it, after a couple of minutes the computer adapted and it has run great ever since.

wtf? this is back from 05, why would you bring it back?

and its going from a stock(56mm?) to a 60mm, u really think your gonna notice 4mm in your pants with just an intake? its one of those mods you do when you have alot of other stuff done.

if you were reffering to me, i have more than just the intake...i installed it at the same time as the intake...and if i remember the stock eco is 58mm...but its been quite a while since i measured it.

no i wasnt. was refering to the poster who brought it back from 2005..

when i said intake, i ment a pretty much stock engine besides an intake and exhaust.

so going from a 58mm to a 60mm probably wont even do anything unless your running fi and need the extra few mm or have a set of killer cams and headwork.

I noticed a difference up top for sure, actually even down low. When I got my CAI it was a bigger difference than having the WAI with the new TB. Fuel issues I had previous were due to bad igntion spark. Definitely worth it from REVCO
