Ok i just bought my HO intake mani and once i put it on i was thinking about basically boring out my stock intake mani....i was going to dremel out the whole thing and just make the ports on the 2.4 IM match the size of the ports on my adapter flange for the HO mani....you think this would work? Also with my losing some of the material inside of the 2.4 mani would i have a problem when running boost? Would i maybe get better gains than with the 2.3 HO IM? Just a thought, tell me what you think.

Dont bore that plastic piece of crap. It will make it even weaker with the thin walls that would result and probably would make it unstable for boost. You are better off boosting with the HO mani...much better off

Yeah, what he said ^^^^^. Don't try and port a plastic mani! I did the 2.3 swap, and it was very well worth it. Would be much better for boost.

the plastic shyt that covers the throtle body
The plastic shyt that covers the throttle body....hmmm
You mean the resonator chamber? The plastic box? Yes, you can take it off, but you will either need to add a breather filter to the crancase vent, or recirc it into the new intake pipe.
I suggest either a breather filter or a catch can to keep the oil vapors from entering the intake/throttle body.
