can anyone give me there opinions on the weapon-r headers for the 2.2L Ecotec engine? any info on power gains, and where and when they hit? thanks for the help.

I have it on my eoctoec and you get some good low torque gains. They hit around 2000-3000 rpms. If your going to get the header through be ready for a time consuming install cause its a pain to get the bolts tight because the header is so tight where the pipes are welded. All openended wrenches.
Good luck buying it. It's backordered everywhere until December. I just gave up on the Weapon-R header and bought a Pacesetter one from Gravana, it's being shipped right now.
(I would have gone for RKSport or DCSports after weapon-r, but they're ridiculously priced.)
Yeah, it is on back order but it's worth waiting for. If my friend wasn't buying mine after my turbo is installed, I would sell it on the org.
It's a good header, no problems with it, no leaks either. Suggestion, don't use the gasket that comes with the header, use either your stock one or get a Felpro gasket...this goes for most header/gasket package you buy, don't use theirs.
If you need any pictures, just let me know.

as I just said in the other weapon R post
Darkstars wrote:weapon R = garbage, after having there intake and header and i can tell you I will NEVER buy ANYTHING with the weapon R name on it ever again, even though there stuff is cheap you do notget what you pay for
Dark what do you have now?
I still have the weapon R header, but the intake i got rid of, I have the RKSport
well the intake is garbage... without motor mounts it will dent your hood first time you floor it, the casting for the piece off the TB is junk, its about as smooth as the rocky mountains, ridges and everything everywhere, when its cut off the ends there where chunks of metal sticking down blocking the flow about 1/4 inch deep into the airstream, missing a clamp, had to trim down the silicone adapters, the foam filters blow...
the header isn't to bad, alot of people have alot problems with the gaskets blowing out, there gaskets sucks and its a pain in the ass trying to find replacements, mine didn't even come with gaskets and hardwear. the way the runners are you can't get 2 of the nuts for the header on, you have to pul;l the header away from the head and hold it just right to slip the nut in between the runner and the flange to get it on the stud, plus once you tighten it down some of the studs in the head to mount the header hit the runners. Getting it in in posotion t be installed is a BITCH... I've read some people have pulled the vale cover and a motor mount off and had to pry the engine forward to to spid it in form the top. I put it in from the bottom.... bad idea... had to pull the passenger axle out, lower moto mount, and an ac line and then fight it for a logn time to pry the engine forward enough to get it in there. The only reason I haven't gotten rid of the header is because its so much work getting it in and out, eventually when I do change it I'm just gonna cut it up and take it out in pieces. oih yeah and its a regular finish so it looks like @!#$ in no time
Bill's Header here I come, lol...

Eh...overpriced and power gain claims are exaggerated
