resonator ?

alright ppl, I am going turbo pretty soon and exhaust needs to be upgrated...

I am planning on running 2.5" the whole exhaust, no mufler, no cat and a good resonator that my exhaust wont be as loud and wont take away alot of performance.....

does anybody has a link for a website that has good resonators ?

what do you guys think about this setup ?

I will be around 5psi but I will plan to run about 8psi later....

should I go with 3" and a resonator ?

thank you

i think in most if not all states its illegal to run without a cat.

just run a high fo cat, resonator, and id go with 3 inch exhaust

Instead of taking out your car, why don't you look into an electric cutout out or boost activated cut out. And 2 1/2" is good enough.

Depending on your state vehicle inspection, you can run without a cat if you have an O2 simulator, available from RK Sport. Most of the time, they won't bother to creep underneath the car. If it throws a code, they'll check it out. You might also ask around locally if there is a particular local place that will do it for you with a few bucks under the table. That's just how things go.

yeah thats how most of the ppl do it back home in PR..... Anyway, i am in Florida and I believe there is no inspection here ?

anyway if a hi-flow cat doesnt take off alot of performance, I will go for it, also for the resonator......

does anybody knows a website to buy these ? Im gona ask my local shop how much do they sell these, but Im pretty shure I can sabe a few $ if I buy it online.......

thanks

do you mean like this one ?

http://www.atpturbo.com/root/releases/release091004.htm

BTW, if I do that with boost, can I just run from the turbo flange 3" or 2.5" to that ?

high flow cats work great. I have a magnaflow highflow on my car. Just make sure you order the same inlet / outlet diamater as the rest of your exhaust.

yeah, that's the boost activated one. It comes in different sizes, 2 1/2" & 3" are sizes that are available. Yes, 2 1/2" is good.
